Awesome App which helped us very much in finding the right ways!!
Just come back from 2 weeks Spain vacation where we rented car and drove around 2000 km around beautiful Costa Del Sol ,Spain and this application helps us every minute in our journey - defiantly recommend it !!!
Great free app, helped my wife and I drive all across Spain. Would use again in a heartbeat.
Good app though I found sometimes strange the way it makes the route.
Anyway - value for money - absolutely best!
Some bad moments
Used for Spain road trip from Madrid to San Sebastian to Barcelona. Used an Ipad 2 wifi and 3G model. Unit was used online only for the purpose of searching for and storing destinations under favorites. Unit used offline for navigation. For route indicated, within and outside of the cities, voice and visual guidance were accurate and timely.
Possible improvement area would be greater visual detail at directional interchanges. These are the areas where many roads meet at varying elevations. I could work out the direction to take but better detail would result in higher end user comfort.
Excellent value rating as its a fully functioning gps free of charge
All I ever get is "Unable to find address. Server is currently unavailable."
And when I am in a city map screen all the maps say "Poor GPS" even though I have a strong signal for the iPhone Maps app as well as for MotionX GPS Drive.
I thought I would give this app a try, because it is free, but what good is a free app, if it does not do what it promises to do?
And tech support does not respond to multiple emails!
Easy to use and very accurate, great for getting directions in Spain
Among all the paid apps this was the only one which was free so i tried it out. The turn by turn navigation works perfectly without data connection or wifi. We used the app in walking mode and walked around Madrid without needing any sort of paper map. The app guided us with turn by turn navigation throughout. The only little thing is that the built search is not so great. You have to remember the exact name of places in order to start routing. It also does not know names of shops so you have to enter a landmark next to them. But i cant complain, all in all an excellent helpful app. Highly recommended for offline navigation
The Canary Islands which are a part of Spain are not included on the database. Navmii doesnt load on my iPhone 4 iOS 7... Just gives me a blank black screen and has no idea where I am. I have been using NavFree for a while and have always been satisfied but NavMii just doesnt work.
I recently used Navmii to drive all around Spain for nearly a month - and for the first time, I didnt have a huge roaming data bill. Directions were accurate, voice guidance was excellent and intelligible, and the app did everything it said it would. Sometimes it was necessary to enter an address rather than a business name, but that really wasnt a big problem. The program got me in and out of tiny villages in the mountains. Highly recommended.
